In MLA: Yours, we focus on you.
'Anxiety' is a broad word. Our focus is 'chronic' anxiety which goes ways beyond worry and fear. Chronic anxiety is what we carry that keeps us from being able to fully connect to people and to God. So this webinar will help you notice and name what is going on under the surface in you and give you tools to go from being managed by anxiety to managing it. You'll identify recurring pressure points, ways to relieve stress as well as proactive tools for long term emotional health.
Specifics:
- The 5 types of anxiety, why 'chronic' anxiety takes such a toll.
- Identify where anxiety begins for you, physiologically and how to intervene early.
- Identify 2 or 3 of your own unique triggers and how to flip the power dynamic.
- List the 12 universal sources of internal anxiety that are common to us all. (We will briefly explain them all, but spend time with 4 or 5.)
- Learn how anxiety competes for the space in which God resides in our awareness and how one displaces the other.
- What 'differentiation' is and how to begin implementing it.
- How to use a Life Giving List to reduce pressure.
- Every participant will get a full slide deck from the webinar and ongoing access to the video.
- Two sessions of Q&A throughout.
- Times to reflect and engage throughout the two hours.
- Be prepared for questions to guide you both during the webinar and to work on afterward.
This webinar has two options:
Option 1: Join Steve on an interactive zoom call. Steve is currently forming a waiting list, so email [email protected] to be placed on the waiting list for the next Zoom in 2020. On the zoom, Steve covers the materials. Opportunity to share, chat with others, 'try on' some tools, time for Q&A, PLUS get on demand access to an unlisted youtube video covering these materials for future reference.
Option 2: Instant Youtube access to the reference video to watch on your own time.
The Zoom call covers the same materials as the youtube video, but is for people who want interaction with Steve and others, opportunity for questions etc.
The Youtube is for people who want to watch on their own time and also for people on the Zoom call who want to access a reference video of the tools taught on the Zoom call.
*Because the nature of my material is vulnerable, out of respect for the Zoom attendees, I do not record the Zoom calls.
Both options are self contained. You can just do the zoom, or just do the youtube or you can interact on Zoom and then keep the youtube video handy for a reminder of tools.
Optional: Purchase a customized MLA journal and/or book. More information below.
